Hyland’s and Target – Made to Matter…and a Coupon!

Who doesn’t love Target? Well, ok. So you go in to buy a few items and end up with a cartful. That is probably what you don’t like about Target. But, oh, the deals that you have in that cart. They can’t give it away for less!

I’m not sure how many of you stay on top of Target Corporate, but back in April of this year they announced an initiative to bring more natural, organic and sustainable products into their stores because it is what their biggest customer base asks for. That customer base would be women and moms, like you and me. “Our guests are looking for products they can feel good bringing home without sacrificing price and performance,” said Kathee Tesija, executive vice president, Merchandising and Supply Chain, Target. “We’re taking the guesswork out of buying better-for-you products by bringing together 16 trusted brands.”

“Now more than ever, Target guests are on the lookout for natural, organic and sustainable products that are better for them and their families. So we’re introducing “Made to Matter – Handpicked by Target,” a first-of-its-kind collection that brings together 16 leading natural, organic and sustainable brands to introduce new products and make them more accessible.

The Made to Matter products span six categories—Baby, Beauty and Personal Care, Grocery, Healthcare and Household—and can be found throughout our stores, both in the usual aisles and as part of specialized collection displays…”

Visit Target.com/madetomatter to learn more about the collection.”

One of these brands is Hyland’s Homeopathic. I’m not sure how much you know about Hyland’s but I’m here to tell you that if you don’t necessarily like to medicate your family with questionable over the counter medicines, but you do want to comfort what ails them, then you should know about Hyland’s.

Now you may be asking, what is Homeopathy? According to WebMD:

Homeopathy, or homeopathic medicine, is a medical philosophy and practice based on the idea that the body has the ability to heal itself. Homeopathy was founded in the late 1700s in Germany and has been widely practiced throughout Europe. Homeopathic medicine views symptoms of illness as normal responses of the body as it attempts to regain health.

Homeopathy is based on the idea that “like cures like.” That is, if a substance causes a symptom in a healthy person, giving the person a very small amount of the same substance may cure the illness. In theory, a homeopathic dose enhances the body’s normal healing and self-regulatory processes.

A homeopathic health practitioner (homeopath) uses pills or liquid mixtures (solutions) containing only a little of an active ingredient (usually a plant or mineral) for treatment of disease. These are known as highly diluted or “potentiated” substances. There is some evidence to show that homeopathic medicines may have helpful effects.

Hyland’s is celebrating over a century-long commitment to making safe and natural homeopathic medicines. During all these years, we’re never lost touch with the reasons why our founders started this company – beginning with the pharmacist and visionary George Hyland back in 1903. We have always been driven by the simple scientific proof of how the body can call upon its own natural defenses to heal and restore balance. This is the basis of homeopathic medicine. So even during times when cultural and political factors have pushed homeopathic medicine from the mainstream, Hyland’s has solidly stood its ground with integrity and wisdom, knowing that as sure as the sun rises each day, our medicines are effective, virtually free of side effects and able to be taken by nearly anyone at any time, from infants to the elderly.

Today, as countless conventional medicines developed by others prove to produce complicated or even harmful side effects, the need for natural homeopathic medicines that work without side effects is increasing. Hyland’s stands as a leader in innovations that answer to the changing health needs of our modern world. From master athletes who use our Arnica Gel on their 3000 mile adventures, to toddlers who can’t yet walk but have the capacity to send their parents running to fetch our Teething Tablets – Hyland’s medicines share the milestones of people’s lives. We’re there when legs are needing a rest, when aching ears need drops, when noses need unclogging, and when little bugs in the hair become big problems for everyone. Hyland’s is for all ages at all times. It’s an honor to play a role in your lives and we’re grateful for your trust and interest in who we are.

One such product by Hyland’s is Calms Forté. This is an exceptional remedy for sleeplessness especially for the overly anxious. As my children have come out of childhood and have entered the highly stressful world of teenager-dom, Calms Forté has rescued us from many an agonizing evening filled with the anxiety of homework, late nights, exams, early mornings, and just life in general. It’s bad enough that as parents, our stresses keep us from getting a good night’s rest, but to see it happen in our children, it is even more agonizing. The great thing about Calms Forté is that there is no sleeping pill “hangover” the following morning. You wake up refreshed and ready to go because its all-natural ingredients work without sedatives. And it is safe for your children.

In fact, Hyland’s Homeopathic has an entire line devoted to your children. If you find all of the over the counter medications on the drug store shelves turn you into a pile of lifeless spaghetti, then try the all-natural solutions by Hyland’s first. You can’t go wrong.

Target wants you to “meet” Hyland’s and has offered me a coupon to share with you for your next purchase of Hyland’s Homeopathic at their stores. Simply click on the coupon link, print it, and bring it with you on your next shopping trip. Yep, it is THAT easy!
