#FACLW – Miracle Noodle Ambrosia #Recipe

When I was a kid, my mom used to make this amazing, sweet, dessert salad that she’d bring to picnics, cook outs, family gatherings, what have you.

It was my ultimate favorite.

She taught me how to make it when I was about 8 years old because you didn’t need to cook anything. You just needed to open a few cans of fruit and measure out simple ingredients. The dish was called Ambrosia, or One Cup Salad, since basically, you used one cup of each of the ingredients.

Purely Inspired Chocolate Chip Cookies for Two

Yesterday was Chocolate Chip Cookie Day. Who knew? Since when does a chocolate chip cookie get it’s own “day”?

I don’t indulge in sugar, so for me, this is as insignificant as doughnut day. Blech. Don’t need ’em, don’t want ’em.

But a chocolate chip cookie? That might be nice, if I could figure out how to make it sugar free and healthy. And since you usually can’t eat just one, being able to make just a smackerel would be plus.

A few months back, I reviewed Purely Inspired Nutrition’s Protein Powders and I promised you a new recipe each month using the protein powder. If you haven’t heard about Purely Inspired Nutrition, I highly recommend you check them out. What I like most about them is that they are reasonably priced, all-natural vegan protein powders that are easily accessible in your local drug or grocery store. Best of all, you can find them at Amazon as well!

Chocolate for breakfast? Why not! Cacao is one of the best antioxidants out there, and it is incredibly good for you in it’s purest form. Just keep out the flour and the sugar, and you’ve got a true super food. But how to do that and put it in a successful muffin recipe isn’t always obvious. Hopefully, I’ve taken the guess work out of it for you!

Here is some more information for you regarding Purely Inspired.

I’m so excited that Purely Inspired read my original review of their protein powders and kindly sent me a canister of their Very Berry flavor! I knew it was deliverd while I was on vacation in California, so I couldn’t wait to get home and try it. Berry flavored protein powders aren’t my favorite. I’ll admit that. But, with a little creativity, you can sure come up with some great ideas on how to utilize it…especially when it comes to no-guilt desserts.
